2011 Review

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone! I had a wonderful Christmas with my family and Robbie. I have seen some other bloggers do a sort of year in review blog and I thought it would be fun to look back at this year because it was such an exciting year full of so many changes for me!

January
Robbie and I kicked of 2011 at his fraternity's winter formal in Charlotte, NC. It was a really fun trip. I actually took a dress with me to wear, ended up not liking it, and went shopping and bought a new dress and jewelry to wear the day of formal. The mall that we shopped at in Charlotte was AMAZING!

February
I don't have that many pictures from February, but most of the month was spent stressing about my grad school interview at Auburn that was at the end of the month. Apparently my interview went well because I got accepted and now I love Auburn! War Eagle!
(I took this picture of Toomer's Corner while I was at AU for interview day)

March
In March I turned 22, but apparently I didn't do anything too exciting because I don't have any pictures from my birthday. I did however do lots of fun things with my best friends! We had sorority socials and formal...
(I can't remember the theme of the social...but obviously we were the Average Joes dodgeball team)
(At the Pi Kapp house before our formal...clearly we were a fun group)

April
In April I spent a lot of time being sad that my time at West Ga was almost over, but I definitely made the most of it. Lauren and I organized a surprise class shower for our friend Nikki who got married this summer.
I had entirely too much fun at my last social ever and it was extra special because it was with Robbie's fraternity...and yes we did dress up as Pi Kapps and again I can't remember the theme of this one either...and yes a select few of us did end the night bawling our eyes out because it was our last one!

May
I graduated in May. It was such a bittersweet thing. I was excited to graduate and be moving on to graduate school and Auburn, but it meant leaving my best friends and the town that had been my home for four years.
Right after graduation we went to the beach for Robbie's fraternity's beach formal...it was so much fun as usual!
June and July
I spent my summer relaxing at home and getting ready to move to Auburn. I also spent a lot of time watching my brother play baseball.
August
In August I moved to Auburn! It was a big change, but I bonded really quickly with my classmates and I love life in Auburn!
 September
(This was actually the end of August, but I don't have any September pictures.) I went back to West Ga for sorority recruitment. I love recruitment and I hope that I always have the opportunity to go back and help!
October
I went to West Ga's homecoming and it was fun as always!

November
November included a lot of homework, studying, and writing papers. I also ate entirely too much food at Thanksgiving, as usual! Right before Thanksgiving I got to see Brantley Gilbert in concert. The concert was put on by the Tim Hudson Foundation, so I spent most of my time taking pictures of the Braves players that were there.
(That's Tim Hudson with the cup in his hand)
And how could I forget on of the highlights of my year??? I met Jeff Francoeur in our little tiny Mexican restaurant here in the middle of nowhere Georgia! I have been in love with Jeff since his rookie season with the Braves and to say that I was starstruck was a major understatement, but he was sooooo nice and even more handsome in person!

December
I finished my first semester of grad school with all A's! I was so happy to be home for a whole month! Christmas with my family was amazing as always. I really have the best parents, brother, and extended family! I also got to see Robbie on Christmas Day for the first time in the 3.5 years we have been dating! Oh, and I got lots of awesome presents including my glorious navy blue Longchamp!!!
(annual Christmas picture)
(In love with my Longchamp)

2011 was an amazing year full of lots of wonderful memories with the people that mean the most to me along with a lot of new experiences with new friends! I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store!
